This lesson helps your students to learn of the difficult policies set forth in Germany after the Treaty of Versailles of 1919 to end World War I. Germany is in turmoil and this activity works well in conjunction with teaching about the Great Depression. You will receive a full lesson plan to help you organize this activity, chart for your students, video on hyperinflation, primary source photography, and a closing activity. Do not worry about knowing what to plan, it is all here! The plan is aligned to College and Career readiness standards as well. This would be a great lesson for an observation.
You will not be disappointed and your students will enjoy this activity as you can put this lesson forth as an individual, partner, or group based activity. I have used all three strategies and this helps with your organization.
