Here's a way to use those broken crayons!! This activity can be done in pairs or as a small group lesson. Students are given 3 crayons of different colors and different lengths. Students put them in order by length either from longest to shortest or shortest to longest. Next, they draw a picture of their answer. For example, they would draw a blue line, green line and purple line of appropriate lengths to show their answer as longest to shortest. Then they circle the order they used.
