This three to four day project gives students a chance to be creative, and to get to know each other at the beginning of the school year. They will reflect on and present themselves as readers and writers, and then will interview each other and write based on the interviews. The writing is also meant to be used for diagnostic purposes and as a starting point for evaluating student writing growth throughout the year. A scoring guide is included.
This project is aimed at Middle School students primarily.
