This special combo pack includes Gallery Walks for all four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division! Get your students moving, impress your administration and make learning fun!
A gallery walk is a fantastic way to get students up and moving around the classroom, while completing curriculum-related tasks that will reinforce their knowledge.
During a gallery walk, cards are posted around the room, each containing a task for students to complete. Students move around the room, completing the tasks on their recording sheet.
I love gallery walks because they integrate movement into a lesson that reinforces essential knowledge. Kinesthetic learners are engaged, and classroom management issues become minimal. Gallery walks are a great idea for formal observations by your administration, as you are integrating other intelligences into your math lesson.
