Looking for activities on verbs? This pack includes 10 different activities that include games, activities, and printables to use when teaching verbs. Here's a look at what's included:

Pocket Sort - students sort verbs and words that are not verbs into pockets that can be glued inside an interactive notebook or construction/colored paper

Flip Flap Book - students sort words into 2 categories: verbs and adjectives

Past, Present, or Future? - students sort verbs by past, present, and future. This includes a station activity with both colored and black and white cards, as well as word cards that can be cut, glued, and sorted into an interactive notebook.

Flip it! - students cut and glue past, present, and future into their interactive journals or a piece of construction/colored paper and write verbs that belong in that category under each flap.

Adding Verbs - students complete sentences by writing with verbs to complete each sentence. This can be completed in an interactive journal or on construction/colored paper.

Shout it! Show it! - teacher shouts out a word and students show whether the word is a verb or not a verb. My kids love this game!

Say and Color - students follow the color by code to identify verb

Sizzling Verbs - students complete a sunglasses craft by writing verbs on the sunglasses. Students can also glue the sunglasses to a piece of construction paper and add a sentence. These are super adorable hanging!

Scoot - students scoot around the room reading sentences. Students identify the verbs in each sentence and record it.

Verb Hat - There are 2 options included. Students write a list of verbs for each category (past, present, future) or students can write a question, statement, and exclamatory sentence using a verb in each sentence.
