This activity includes 36 task cards of varying difficulty perfect for differentiated instruction.
It could be used as a partner activity, where one student
reads the card and the other student answers it. They must both
agree that the answer is a logical cause or effect.
Can be used as independent seat work or center/small group work.
Activity is differentiated ranging from one to one cause/effect
relationships up to 3 causes or effects to one effect or cause.
Teacher can also use blank cards to create their own cause and effect task cards.
Blank cards and cones can also be used as a way to apply or assess student understanding of cause and effect relationships in short stories, informative texts, or novel studies.
Note: No answer key is provided due to a variety of answers that
would be reasonable. Accept any logical answer for the cause or effect.
