Get to Know You Scavenger Hunt

Students "hunt" for certain items around their home or classroom, then share them with their teacher and classmates. (Ex: "Find something that shows your favorite color...")

    Would You Rather...? Activity

These questions are not only fun, they are STRATEGIC! Learn valuable insight about your new students by identifying introverts vs. extroverts, strong readers, attention-seekers, behind the scenes hard workers, those who prefer quality time vs. words of affirmation, etc.

    All About Me Scavenger Hunt

Students hunt for items that reflect themselves to share with their classmates.  (Ex: “Find something that starts with the letter of your first name…”)

    Get to Know Your Teacher

Presents three statements: 2 are true & 1 is a lie. Students guess which statement about their teacher is the lie.  Prompts are pre-created for you- just fill in 3 choices!  Students LOVE finding out info about their new teacher!

    Why Should You Purchase?

    Builds Community!

Making time for community-building activities helps students make connections and feel comfortable in their new classroom environment.

    A Great Investment!

After distance learning concludes, you can use these games for years to come in person by simply projecting them on the board. You’ll use these for years to come, even if you change grade levels!

Easy to differentiate for grade levels!
Upper Elementary- follow up with a writing assignment such as “choose 3 items from the game and explain why they represent you.”

Lower Elementary- Teacher can read aloud the slides to students.  Students can use items to “show and share” with the class.

    Four Activities Included!

Play 1 game a day for four days.  You’ll be set for a great first week of school!

ALL activities are guaranteed to produce lots of smiles and ease nerves on the first week of school!
