This icebreaker is a great way to get students talking and learning about each other. It can be used on the first day of a new class, or to help build community anytime during the year. The way it works is that students break into groups and each group gets a 5x5 Bingo board with something in each square like, "likes sushi" etc. If that statement applies to that student they write their name in that box. The first group to get 5 in row, down, or diagonally wins. You can also play for "blackout." Boxes can easily be adjusted to meet your specific class.
