I love using these “get-to-know-you” task cards on one of the first days of school to not only personally get to know my students, but also so students can get to know each other. I use these cards with JENGA. Students simply answer a task card and then pull a Jenga block. The students continue until the tower falls. If students run out of cards, simply have students flip them back over and start again. If a student draws a card they have already answered, have them ask students to remember what his/her original answer was to the question. These task cards could be paired with any game: board games, Ker’Plunk, etc. Just have students answer a card before taking their turn.
This pack contains 36 unique question cards that can be used alongside any game.
