A great introductory first day activity / worksheet for students to get to know their Integrated Mathematics 3 textbook (McDougal Littell -- all editions). A series of 10 questions over 2 pages take students on a tour of their new textbook and have them learn about the helpful specialized sections such as the Toolbox, Tables, Glossary, Index, and Extra Practice sections. Works well as an individual or small group assignment. Great way to break the ice in a new course!
