This is perfect for the first day of school (or second day of school). Relationships and community among students are important for learning, and this forces students to become more acquainted with their classmates in a low-risk setting. There are also questions honoring multiculturalism, elders, and disabilities. As students complete this activity, I also encourage them to introduce themselves, look one another in the eye, greet and talk to each other (rather than just obtaining signatures from one another), etc. Appropriate for 4th - 12th grades.
