Getting Around Town: Following Directions and Auditory Memory UPDATED!
Includes road maps (basic and simple, blank and premade), common places, following directions task cards, and auditory memory task cards.
Example of auditory memory task card: Oh no! You were playing with your friends and fell off the swings. You hurt your leg and need to see a doctor. (Student listens to prompt, then moves his car to the park, then the hospital).
Use blank road maps as file folder game or with a magnet board. I like to use with matchbox cards so students can "drive" from place to place!
Good for preschool, special education, deaf education, or speech pathology. Multiple uses helpful for itinerant teachers. Or print out and give to parents for extra at home practice!
