I got the hallway poem online. Then, I added the children in a line graphics to my document. I printed this on a color printer and glued it on colorful construction paper to make a poster. I hung it under my light switch by my classroom door. Every time we lined up and the lights were off, we would sing this song before we headed into the hallway. I created this because my school is a Responsive Classroom school. This helps the students get ready to be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn in the hallway.
Here's the song,"My hands are behind my back, I'm standing straight and tall, My eyes are facing forward, I'm ready for the hall."
I hope you enjoy this! Thanks!
