Core vocabulary is a small set of simple words, in any language, that are used frequently and across contexts (Cross, Baker, Klotz & Badman, 1997). These words make up 75-80% of the words we use every day. The Big Core Classroom Vocabulary Board is based on the DLM Core Vocabulary. This is a list of words that have been determined to be highly useful for communicating in both social and academic contexts.

. What buyers are saying about the BIG Core Classroom Vocabulary Board:
"I'm so excited to have this product and start using it. I initially saw your post on Instagram. I saw your livestream on Facebook on how you implement it and shared it with my teachers. They are equally as excited. I especially love that you have an accompanying smaller board and the individual picture cards..."
"Thank you for putting this together! I have been wanting to implement Core vocabulary for some of my students but always feel intimidated when I go to make something! I can't wait to use this with my Pre-K students!"
