Give your students the opportunity to learn about other people by having them write a biographic sketch!
In this fun and creative booklet, students interview anyone they chose and write a five-paragraph biographic sketch about that person! They can interview teachers, friends, parents, neighbors, school faculty, or anyone!
This writing assignment focuses on the different areas of a biographic sketch (basic facts, characteristics, accomplishments, interesting facts, and influencing others) and walks students through the process of interviewing and writing their sketch.
Booklet includes writing assignment outline, rubric, graphic organizers, practice worksheets for interviewing, interviewing outline and questions, and sentence structure outline for students to use before drafting.
