Like so many people I function best with lists! I am a bit of a checklist freak.
I have tried to use e-lists on my ipad, smart phone, PC. I have tried ones that update automatically with all my toys, have tried notebooks, and random-once-loved envelopes, menus or homework sheets. But my all time favorite is this 'To Do List'.
I simply print off several pages (there are three lists per page), cut and staple together. They fit great on the back of my ipad and are almost always with me. If I am trawling the web, in a meeting, checking emails, conferencing with students, the checklist is there. No need to close the email app and open another for jotting down an idea or a job to do. Colleagues of mine also use this list for their Teacher Aids and classroom helpers! It would also be great for enrichment students and the work you sent them.
Simple, handy and I love crossing things off the list as I get them done!
I once read that when writing your morning 'to do list' make sure you write down something simple or something that you have already done!
Then you get to cross it off and start to feel a sense of accomplishment!
I love this idea!
As a newbie I would love to hear of your ideas and experiences!
