I used this book each year to introduce my students
to the school and people they would encounter. I would
take them on a tour of the school, meeting the people they would encounter each day.
When we returned to the classroom, we would make this book.
Choose the pages that are appropriate for your
school and personnel (male vs female staff, etc)
Print, copy and staple together as a book.
Give each child a book.
Give them the names of each person for them to fill in on the line.
They then draw a picture of that person.
(That is why it is helpful to meet each person first.)
This book is great as a first day or even first week of school activity.
As they meet people, they can fill in that page in the book.
Make it work for your classroom!
There is even a page for them to draw and write
about a new friend (or friends. Just print multiple copies of that page.)
I hope you enjoy!
