This powerpoint gives students a summary of the battle of Gettysburg. Along with information about the dedication of the memorial to those who lost their lives during battle. It has a link for the students to listen to Abraham Lincoln's famous Gettysburg Address speech, spoken as if you were actually listening to Abraham Lincoln say it himself. I have provided some thinking questions for the students to discuss after listening.
For the Primary Analysis aspect I have created a handout of the speech for you to provide for your students along with the questions they will be answering, in a group, with a partner, or individually, however you feel works best for your classroom.
