Looking for a fun way to practice expanded form and expanded notation? Have students create their own sets of giant dice! They roll the dice and then put the numbers together. Students can use the hundreds, tens and ones, or just the tens and ones.
You could have students create their own dice, work with a partner, or have a set already made for them to use at a center.
I have also included 2 different recording sheets for them to record their numbers and show their work as well as an extra blank dice template where you could use your own numbers.
**Note: the dice work best when copied onto cardstock.
