Use these treat bag toppers to embellish gifts for your students as you celebrate reading next month (March) or whenever you desired to recognize students for their reading efforts!
The idiom, “Music to my ears.” is used. There are four different phrases included which are appropriate for reading, speech, preschool, music, and ELL teachers.
“Listening to you read is MUSIC to my ears.”
“Listening to you talk is MUSIC to my ears.”
“Listening to you sing is MUSIC to my ears.”
“Listening to you play is MUSIC to my ears.”
Written messages are not just embellishments on a gift wrapped in a plastic bag. They signify a specified reason to celebrate. It’s like receiving mini-certificates that tell children what they have accomplished.
You'll need the following items for this project:
1. bright colored card-stock paper
3. transparent, plastic baggies
4. paper trimmer or scissors
5. print with black ink
6. party favor toys (I recommend toy musical instruments to correlate with the idiom.)
