Overview of the novel:
The book, Amelia Bedelia, is about a maid who is always making mistakes because she interprets the instructions given by her employer (The Rodgers) literally. Her activities are very funny but the Rodgers’ are not amused by her mishaps. By the end of the
book, she has won the family over but they realize they must write their requests very carefully. ( ie. Not dust the furniture BUT undust the furniture)
