This resource includes 3 carefully curated primary sources to analyze that will enhance any Gilded Age unit. It is aligned to my Gilded Age Unit Bundle. Each of the primary documents focuses on one aspect of this time period to analyze. Encourage your students to think deeply about the topics associated with these topics. You can also assign the analysis activities as homework.

Primary documents include:

•political cartoon about the robber barons Jay Gould, William H. Vanderbilt, and Cyrus W. Field

•political cartoon about the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882

•first- and second-hand accounts of the events that happened at the Massacre at Wounded Knee
