This PowerPoint has two ability levels: basic and enriched. The enriched version has more links and goes into more detail. The basic version is simplified as much as possible. The same content is used in both versions. It is great to use when parallel teaching with a co-teacher. If you are not lucky enough to have a co-teacher, you can choose the level that will benefit the majority of your class. The content follows the 8th grade NYS social studies curriculum and standards.
