In this 9 page packet (2 student worksheets and 7 reading handouts) your students will have everything they need to examine the contributions of the following Muckrakers at the turn of the century: Ida Tarbell, Upton Sinclair, Nellie Bly, Jacob Riis, and Samuel Hopkins Adams. Students can read about each of these muckrakers and then complete a graphic organizer about the contributions of each. The second student worksheet requires students to answer critical thinking questions about the primary source excerpts included. Great follow-up assignment to a lecture on the Industrialization/Gilded Age. Perfect lesson for homework or classwork. All materials are included.
