Here is a fun literacy center activity to match uppercase and lowercase letters. It's also perfect for work boxes, work tasks for autism, literacy centers, and Gingerbread themed units.
There are 78 two-piece puzzles: Match up the 2-piece puzzles of the gingerbread man and gingerbread girl to pair manuscript letters. Three sets for your students to practice matching:
* lowercase to lowercase
* uppercase to uppercase
* uppercase to lowercase
Easy prep: just print, laminate, and cut apart the characters.
Ways to use:
Students can put them together on the floor and then line them up in abc order.
Distribute them among the class and then have them walk around to find the match.
Place in a sensory bin and find the matching halves
Print in a reduced size, cut out in rectangles and use as a card game like “Go Fish”.
