This contains two different games to help students distinguish beginning and ending sounds.
Beginning Sounds Game: You can use this in a small group or as a literacy center to help students identify beginning sounds. There are two sets of cards, boys and girls, with beginning sounds pictures on them. Students find the matches of pictures the gingerbread people are holding the beginning sounds.
Ending Sounds Game: Students match the gingerbread girls to boys by listening for ending sounds in the pictures. This game is used to help students distinguish ending sounds in words by matching them.
Both games are perfect for small group instruction and/or literacy centers.
