Mizz Mac's Gingerbread House includes an introduction about the history of gingerbread houses, a supply list, two methods for creating a gingerbread house, a template ok to copy, directions, and photographs of examples.
One way to create the house is harder and more for the older the children. A second method can be created by all ages.
Both houses are created from either earthenware clay or air dry clay. Both can be painted with tempera, acrylics, or glaze for the earthenware.
These houses can also be created after studying the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel.
These houses have become a Christmas tradition in students' homes.
