This activity packet is used with gingerbread men cookies. Student decorate a paper gingerbread man. Then they are given a gingerbread man cookie and told to take one bite only! Students circle the part of the gingerbread man that they bit off and this is used to gather classroom data for the tally chart. The tally chart data can then be used to make a graph showing how many students ate the different parts of the gingerbread men. Students also use < > = to compare the number of students who ate different parts. The data can also be used on an additional sheet to write fractions.
