You will find 3 activities, with many ideas how to use and differentiate.
Activities in color and black and white.
Gingerbread Numbers - Gingerbread are numbered 0 - 30 with numbers missing. Students fill in the missing numbers. There is two different versions to differentiate for your students. I included it in color to laminate and reuse many times with dry erase markers AND in black and white to use with pencil.
Gingerbread Flash Cards - Numbers 0 - 30 to practice ordering, counting, and number recognition. Ideas- Put them in a pocket chart to order. I use them as a game by putting them in a container and students draw them one at a time and use counters to show the number. Students could also play a game by putting them in a container and taking turns drawing the cards one at a time. If students can read the number, they keep it. Whoever has the most at the end wins! =)
Counting Gingerbread - A 9 page book that you print out and cut for each student. Students practice counting and writing numerals on each page. You can differentiate by having students write the number word as well. Students find a fun surprise on the last page of the book! A color copy is also included to laminate and use over again with a dry erase marker at a math center.
