There are 8 pages with gingerbread faces shaped like Circles, Triangles, Squares, Ovals, Hexagons, Stars, hearts, Rhombus, Trapezoid, Pentagons& Rectangles. The Students will remember the basic shapes they have already been introduced to, and enjoy the ability to make the shape themselves! This is a great fine motor activity to really understand the attributes of each shape and to practice drawing shapes independently!
Level 3: 5-Part Shape Puzzles
This activity builds on the first two. In this activity the Gingerbread-faced shapes are the center of the puzzle and there are 4 different pictures that will fit around each shape. The puzzles are all the same, so the students have to find the objects pictured that match the center shape to complete each puzzle. This activity brings into focus that shapes are all around us and that our world is made of different shapes!
