Race to the Gingerbread House
Students turn over a card and read the time. Then they will roll the dice and move that many spaces. I made cards to the hour, half hour, quarter hour, and quarter till.
Make the Biggest Number
Students pick two cards and try to make the
Biggest number. This game reviews place value to the 100’s.
You can also use the cards to make addition and subtraction sentences.
Students estimate and measure objects in the room using gingerbread man rulers.
Add and Decorate
Roll two dice and add together. Student will then pick a decoration depending on what they rolled and decorate their house with it.
Gumdrop spin and Double
Spin on a spinner and double the number. Cover up the space on the game board with that number.
Race to the House
Directions: Roll a dice and move the amount of spaces that corresponds with the number you rolled on the 120 grid. The first one to the gingerbread house is the winner.
