NOTE: This file includes two different symmetry activities. You can use them while students are working in group to differentiate. You could also use the sorting activity first and then have students complete the other half of the gingerbread person to make it symmetrical.

Print, laminate, and cut out the gingerbread men on page one of this file. Students will use a dry erase marker to draw a line of symmetry on each gingerbread person (if the gingerbread person is symmetrical). Students will then sort the gingerbread people into symmetrical and not symmetrical.

Students will use the worksheet to complete each gingerbread person by making it symmetrical.
