Every year I try to think of a new way to kick off the year with re-learning or learning the Girl Scout Law. I made these tags and plan to copy them onto paper to modge podge onto flat rocks.
The paint and hide-a-rock- for others to find is very popular where we live. At our kick off meeting, each rock containing part of the Girl Scout Law will be hidden. Teams of girls will have to find the rocks and assemble them into the right order as they practice.
Colors are very helpful to their memory for this age of girl so I kept the tags simple but colorful.
Alternative activities or follow up activities could be copying these tags onto cardstock and making an envelope for each girl or pair of girls to sort and put in order. Girls can eventually glue these onto a poster and add decorations.
