Give Me 5 is a fun, motivating way to work on articulation skills with your students in small groups/pairs! This is based on the popular game, Connect 4.
To use, print out target sheets. (This works best in groups of 2, or you could play with your student during one on one sessions.) Give one sheet to a pair of students. Have them take turns practicing a target word or making a sentence for the word. After they practice the target of their choice, have them color in the corresponding “high five hand.” The goal is to get 5 hands in a row- across, down, or diagonal.
These are great sheets to send home as homework. Or, save some ink and place them in page protectors/ laminate them and use with dry erase markers!
