This Give Me 5 Kindness Activity uses kindness affirmations and a fun hands-on kindness craft you can do three ways to remind kids to act and speak with kindness more often and what is expected of them.
It's a great way to improve classroom management and classroom behaviors for back to school and set up clear expectations to create a kind classroom/school.
Or you can use these kindness activities as a way to add in social emotional learning and character education into your lesson plans. It's perfect for world kindness day activities.
Students can do this craft as a whole group, in small groups, as partners (to help trace their hands) or independently.
This is perfect for Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and middle schoolers, including homeschool families to set clear expectations.
For the kindness activity, students can color the hand and cut out the kindness affirmations and glue them on each finger. Or they can trace and color their own hand and cut and glue the affirmations on each finger. Or they can trace and color their own hand and write in the kindness message themselves.
And you can hang up the Kindness ePoster as a reminder when students come in your classroom or leave your classroom to perform random acts of kindness and speak and act with kindness more often to their classmates, friends, and teachers.
