When Helen was just two years old she had a severe fever that left her blind and deaf. Even so, she learned how to read, write and talk. She even graduated from college and met eleven United States presidents. She also received many awards.
Students will experience what Helen Keller was like as a young girl. They will also learn how she was able to overcome her disabilities in her early life before she became world renowned.
