Give Me Five: Give Me Five Posters
This Give Me Five poster set is a great visual reminder for behavior expectations during instruction or anytime someone is addressing the class. When the teachers says “Give Me Five” the students know that means zero voices, eyes on the speaker, hands and feet are still, active listening and they are now ready to learn.
Put the posters up where they can be easily seen during instruction and sharing time. The posters show kids modeling the behaviors in a positive way. You can put them on bulletin boards, white boards or on the wall. You can display them vertically or horizontally to save space.
So rather than telling the kids to stop talking or doing this or that, just say “Give Me 5.” This is a positive classroom management technique that gets the kids attention and really works!
I have included two sets of hands, one with darker skin tone and one with lighter skin tone.
