Product Description
This file contains material I use to teach the novel to my gifted 7th grade English class. Included are the letter I send home for permission to read the book; a list of the characters with descriptions; discussion questions for the novel; a study guide for the final test; the final test; and a creative extension activity. My main focus of discussion of this book is anti-bullying. It is also written from a unique multiple-narrator first person point of view, so the book has a very realistic feel to it. I do recommend doing some prep work before teaching this novel by teaching the students a little about current bullying research and the Columbine High School massacre.
