Description
Donner les indications en français. This resource includes a French-themed map of a fictional town for students to practice giving and understanding directions.
A set of cards is also included, making it more of a "game"-type activity. One set of cards indicates a starting point and another set of cards indicates a destination. Students then have to locate the two locations on the map and give verbal directions.
Suggestions are included for ways to use this as a NO PREP activity without the cards also.
This activity was created to align with vocabulary presented in D'accord 2 Unité 4 and Chemins 3 Unité 2 but also recycles previously learned vocabulary for places around town--both from earlier units of D'accord and Chemins. A few additional places are added in that are not presented in the textbooks but should be easy to figure out (synagogue, fleuriste, fromagerie, le fast-food).
The maps and cards are included in both color and black and white. A separate key is included that defines what each image is intended to represent.
