This is the newest, and most highly-recommended product, in my store. If your students liked my original reading guides, then they are guaranteed to love this packet much more. It is easier-to-read, has more detailed information and contains tons of visuals.
This 34 page document is intended to printed as a set of class notes for 10th grade World History Students studying the time frame of 1939-2018 (present day). This set of notes is in an outline format and is illustrated with 142 visuals (photographs, cartoons, maps, paintings, diagrams, etc.) that supplement and enrich the content presented in the notes.
Your students will greatly appreciate this document because it is easy-to-read, with key vocabulary words in bold font and the meanings of the words in parentheses. Each unit builds off the of the topic before it, giving students a sense of chronology in their notes. I encourage my students to make their own notes in the margins of the pages as we cover each topic in class.
Units covered in this packet are Unit 31 (World War II), Unit 32 (The Cold War), Unit 33 (The Chinese Revolution), Unit 34 (End of the Cold War), Unit 35 (End of Imperialism), Unit 36 (Conflicts in the Middle East), Unit 37 (Global Economies Post-World War II), Unit 38 (Modern Economic Issues), Unit 39 (Global Conflicts & Human Rights) and Unit 40 (21st century Issues & Beyond)

I recommend you download the study guide and multiple choice quizzes 31-40, so that you can witness the true intended effect of my resources. The fundamental purpose of this packet, the reading guide, is to boost student performance on my Regents-aligned quizzes and assessments.
*** IMPORTANT NOTE: This document is a PDF-file; that means that after you download it, you may not alter or make changes to it in anyway. This is because the program that I used (Google Documents) to create this packet does not allow files to be converted into Microsoft Word documents without drastically distorting the original appearance and format of the document.
The only way that I was able to make this file downloadable was to make it a PDF-file. I use the exact same document that you are downloading with my own students; I do not change anything about it, so you should not worry. You are receiving the file exactly as it is supposed to look. Thank you for your understanding about this issue.
When photocopying, I recommend making the brightness setting lighter on the photocopier machine so that the images on the pages come out more clearly.
