We made another great activity to practice locating where to look for information. In this activity, students read a card and based on the information on the card have to decide where they would look to find the information needed from the card. For example one card states: what is the title of the story that starts on page 16, and students would write the title on the answer sheet by looking at the table of contents. This activity can be self checking by writing the correct answer on the back of each informational card. You can have students answer the cards and/or sort them based on the question. If the question relates to the index place on the index sheet, if it relates to the glossary place on the glossary, etc. Print on card stock, laminate for durability and have students practice using reference materials and locating information. This comes with a answer sheet where students write the correct answer for each numbered card. Comes with an answer key for Teacher!
