PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This resource was originally designed for ESL students who were starting to read the classics. It is also useful to use with students who are studying classic novels (upper primary or high school).

The 125 words in this resource are organised into word types: nouns, adjectives and verbs, with each list organised alphabetically and giving a simple explanation of the meaning of the word along with any other forms it has.

The vocabulary in this resource are words that students approached me about when reading authors such as Emily Bronte, Jane Austen and Charles Dickens.
