Do your students need practice counting quantities to 20? Do they need to build their confidence in math? Do your students need to work on turn taking in a small group setting? Do you want a game that will grow with your students? Try the Go Directly Math Games Series! The game play of these games can be kept the same, and as your students master each standard, you can differentiate with the next game in the series.
These games are designed to be easy to prepare! Print a game board for each group of 4 students, as well as the set of cards. Cut out the 4 cards, and provide game pieces (such as blocks, discs, or pawns).
For young students who are not used to taking turns or playing board games, a whole class version of game play directions is included. For students who are readers (or adults who are available to facilitate game play) a more traditional set of directions is also included. If you choose, you can glue game boards into file folders, along with an envelope to hold cards and directions.
