How To Prep:
Print, laminate (optional), and cut all cards
How To Play:
Students will receive 5 cards each and place the extra cards face down or in “tank”. The first player will ask another player if they have a needed card (“Do you have “frog?”). If the player has the card, they must give that card to the student asking for it. If they do not have the card, the student asking will have to “go fish” and pull a card from the “tank”. The objective of the game is for a player to find a match for all of the blend words. The first player to find a match for all of their blends is the winner. This activity can be played in guided reading small groups, or placed into your literacy centers for independent practice.
