What can fish teach your students about how to work well with others? In this Mindwinder, students will learn about the physiological advantages that our fishy friends have that allow them to use their senses to swim along peacefully with others.
Students will understand that our own 5 senses can help them to get along with others.
They will have fun "fishing" for colored "fish" in the big ocean. This hands-on activity promotes engineering skills as they build tools to help them gather the fish and bring them into their boat.
This Mindwinder includes:
--suggested literature to help cement the theme
--links to online resources about the topic
--an engaging hands-on activity
--several extension ideas to take this theme further
--springboard questions for a complete debrief of the topic
** This Mindwinder can be presented in one session, or you can present over the course of an entire week. Facilitation options are included in the instruction manual, included in every Mindwinder purchase.**
