DIRECTIONS:

Ink Saving and Color Version:
1. Have students take cards from the middle. You can decide if you want them to take 3, 5, or 7 cards to begin.

2. Students keep their cards in their hand and ask their opponent “Do you have a (insert number)?”

3. If the opponent does, they give the card to the student. If they do not they say “Go Fish” and the student pulls a card from the pile.

4. If students match all the cards in their hand, they pull the number they started with from the middle (3, 5, or 7).

5. The winner is the first one to get rid of all his/her cards. The pile in the middle has to be gone in order to win.

Differentiated (Self Checking) Version:

NOTE: In this version students will be able to easily check if the numbers do match because there are fish in the corner. If the fish are the same color it is a match. This is to help them self check.

4. If students match all the cards in their hand, they pull the number they started with from the middle (3, 5, or 7).

5. The winner is the first one to get rid of all his/her cards. The pile in the middle has to be gone in order to win.
