This is a fun game inspired by the "Go Fish" (in French it is called "La Bonne Pioche". This game will allow your students master "vêtements" vocabulary.
There are 128 cards (32 green cards, 32 blue cards, 32 red cards, 32 purple cards) with 32 vocabulary words (repeat on each color).
This is what you need to do:
1. Print all 128 cards.
2. Laminate your cards for durability.
3. Cut your cards.
4. Select the cards with the words you want your students to practice. For example, if you only teach 20 out 32 words, then select those cards in all 4 colors so you have 80 cards in total.
5. 2-6 students could play this game with one stack of cards. That means if you wish your whole class of, let's say, 24 students play at the same time, prepare at least 4 stacks of cards.
This is how you play it:
Each player gets five cards. The rest of the cards are placed in the middle and they are called "la pioche". If you are dealt a four of a kind, or get four of a kind during game play (for example: 4 cards with "une chemise" on them in 4 different colors), those cards are removed from your hand, and you get a point. Moving clockwise, players take turns asking a specific player for a given rank of card.
P.S. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
