This is an activity that I use with my 7th Graders. It is a fun way to get them thinking about goals for the year or a unit. (It is easily transferable to younger grades.)
It is great to have up on the walls during Back to School Night, Open House, or conferences. I like to pull them back out at the end of the year or the unit to do a wrap-up activity. It is good to see if they met their goal and learned what they hoped they would.
Included in the packet are: directions, 1 head template, 4 hair templates (spiky, Elvis, bob, and pig tails), and 4 thought bubbles (my goal is, I want to learn about, I wonder, and a blank bubble).
I love to take pictures of my students' "thinking" faces and have them paste the picture on the head template rather than color in a face. They really ham it up! This also makes my 7th Graders buy-in to the activity. (Show me a middle schooler that doesn't love goofy pictures of themselves!)
I add new items all the time. Make sure to follow the store so you don't miss out!
Enjoy, and send me a message if you have any questions.
