In my classroom, this product will be used for student accountability when setting both their ACADEMIC and SOCIAL goals.
Research shows that goal setting along with frequent review of the goals will lead to higher levels of achievement and motivation. (Latham & Locke, 2007; Locke & Latham, 1990)
In an era of data-based learning, goal setting is important! Not only is it cost free – it’s effective and easy to implement!
These are black and white images so you can use these in a variety of ways
Print out on colored paper of your choice such as AstroBrights and do one of the following things:
-Glue into notebook or data folder
-Post them onto a #GOALGETTERS bulletin board next to their names
Slide them to the Adhesive Label Pockets from Bullseye’s Playground at Target – THEY FIT!
-Print out the blank box sheet on page 3, place Post-Its on the empty spots and print over the Post-Its. Stick where desired!
-Use the the labels found on page 4 of this document, print it out on cardstock, and laminate so the students can use a fine-tipper dry or wet erase marker on them all year long! Change goals as needed!
