These goal-setting exercises ask participants to each choose an activity in which they wish to improve their performance and plan steps to reach their goals. They will then concentrate on developing the elusive skills of strengthening willpower and increasing confidence during Visualize It!
Using visualization as a tool in life can help maintain motivation and decrease anxiety. The visualization script provided can be used to assist in areas such as public speaking, test taking, and social interactions as well.
